On Feb. 10, 2014, director Shoutai Cheng, lawyer Zhihong Yang, lawyer Jianming Gan, lawyer Lanyu Yang received independent legal counsel Michael Digkas from Foley&Mansfield Law Firm (America). A symposium was held for exchange.

Mr. Digkas is a practicing lawyer of Greece, an independent legal counsel of Foley&Mansfield Law Firm of the United States and the general representative of Greece XRTC Business Consulting Co., LTD in China. Mr. Digkas has been working in China for more than two years and has profound understanding on legal service market of China. On the symposium, Mr. Digkas said that there was still no Greece law firm opening a branch or office in China, but with the economic development of China, the prosperous Chinese market has attracted a large number of capital from Greece; besides, as China's foreign investment becoming increasingly active, Greece, as the junction of Eurasia and an important EU member, has also attracted a large number of Chinese investors. In such a background, Mr. Digkas believed that the cooperation between Chinese and Greece law firms would be quite necessary and expected further cooperation with Tahota.

Lawyer Shoutai Cheng of Tahota introduced the development and future development strategy of Tahota and situation of China’s legal service market, especially legal service market in southwest China. Lawyer Zhihong Yang and lawyer Jianming Gan also introduced Tahota’s development in foreign affairs. Finally, the two parties discussed on potential cooperation fields, cooperation mode and cooperation with Beijing branch in the future. Both the parties expressed their aspiration for establishing in-depth cooperation relationship in the future.
